Markets are looking forward to the US Fed's interest rate cut and corporate quarterly results, and US stocks developed individually. DJIA rose 31 points or 0.1%, while the Nasdaq fell 0.1%.

Hong Kong market opened higher in the morning after snapping a 10-day rally streak yesterday. HSI opened 31 points or 0.2% higher at 18,510. HSCEI opened 9 points or 0.2% higher at 6,536. HSTECH opened 1 point or 0.04% lower at 3,921.
