HKMA Chief Executive Eddie Yue said the authority learnt that the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong was finalising the details of trading under inclement weather conditions, and HKMA had informed the banks to get prepared to tie in with the details.

As for the further expansion of the pilot scheme of digital RMB in Hong Kong, Yue said HKMA was ready and would announce the details as soon as possible as the preparation was at the final stage.
