The Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) announced that it has decided to notify and censure Sunac Real Estate Group for its non-compliance. SZSE also decide to notify and censure Wang Mengde, Chairman and General Manager of Sunac Real Estate Group, and Cheng Yi, the person in charge of finance and the person in charge of the disclosure affairs of Sunac Real Estate Group at the time of the incident.

The non-compliance included failure to submit and disclose the 2022 interim report within the required timeframe, and failure of Wang and Cheng to exercise due diligence and fulfil their obligations of integrity and diligence.

The SZSE indicated that the non-compliance and the sanctions imposed on Sunac Real Estate Group and the relevant parties will be recorded in the integrity file database.
