Suzhou kicked off a trade-in program for vehicles and home appliances, which will end by the end of this year. Individual consumers can receive a maximum of RMB6,000 "red packet" as a consumer subsidy after purchasing a car.

In addition, consumers who purchase green electricity-saving products, green water-saving products and new smart home appliances from participating companies will be given a 10% subsidy, with a maximum subsidy of RMB1,500 for a single purchase and a cumulative maximum subsidy of RMB4,500 for a single user.
