Six Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs debuted today (30th), with the ETFs issued by China Asset Management (Hong Kong) seeing a larger turnover. CAM BTC (03042.HK)  +0.050 (+0.607%)   now trades at $8.025, up 2.49%, with 2.3195 million shares traded, involving $18.6957 million in turnover. CAM ETH (03046.HK)  -0.005 (-0.068%)   trades now at $7.86, up 0.38%, with 1.2363 million shares traded, involving $9.7783 million in turnover.

HGI BTC (03439.HK)  +0.010 (+0.121%)   now trades at $8.045, up 2.79%. HGI ETH (03179.HK)  0.000 (0.000%)   now trades at $7.885, up 0.74%. BOS HSK BTC (03008.HK)  +0.100 (+0.194%)   now trades at $50.08, up 2.83%. BOS HSK ETH (03009.HK)  0.000 (0.000%)   now trades at $25.06, up 0.6%.

HKEX (00388.HK)  +3.000 (+1.027%)    Short selling $573.84M; Ratio 21.627%   Head of Equities Product Development, Brian Roberts, said the introduction of spot virtual assets ETFs in Hong Kong is the latest exciting addition to HKEX’s diverse and vibrant ETP ecosystem, providing investors with access to a new asset class. Following the success of virtual assets futures ETFs, the listing of Asia’s first spot virtual assets ETFs will further enhance the product diversity and liquidity of the Hong Kong ETP market. HKEX looks forward to continuing to work closely with its stakeholders with a view to launching more products in its international marketplace.

HKEX added that in 1Q24, the combined average daily turnover for the 3 virtual assets futures ETFs listed in Hong Kong reached $51.3 million, up from $8.9 million a year earlier. Additionally, these 3 virtual assets futures ETFs attracted $529 million in net inflows during the first quarter.
