Tesla (TSLA.US)      will use advanced assisted driving maps by BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  +2.500 (+2.306%)    Short selling $463.68M; Ratio 24.693%   in the China version of its full-self-driving (FSD) software, foreign media reported.

According to China Business Network, information on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) showed that, in addition to the Baidu Auto Map (T version), which is used for vehicle navigation services on-board the car computer, several other advanced driving assistance maps by Baidu Maps has recently received approval from the MNR.

Among the approved maps, GS(2023)4634 advanced driving assistance map, submitted by a Baidu affiliate, is a lane-level map completed by the cooperation between Tesla and Baidu Maps, exclusive and deeply customised.

Baidu trades now at HK$106.2, up 2.81%, with a volume of 3.7511 million shares, involving a capital of HK$396 million.
