UBS recently upgraded its rating on Mainland and Hong Kong equities to Overweight. Hong Kong stocks continued to rise this morning (24 Apr), following the uptrend in the past two days. HSI once lifted 318 points to 17,147 and is now printing at 17,086, up 258 points or about 1.5%, with the main board turnover at $59.7 billion. Technology stocks are still leading the rally, with HSTECH printing now at 3,530, up 81 points or about 2.4%.

SENSETIME-W (00020.HK)  +0.020 (+1.449%)    Short selling $43.08M; Ratio 4.152%   is the best-performing HSTECH constituent. After launching the "SenseNova" foundation model version 5.0, the company's shares once skyrocketed 36.1% this morning to as high as $0.83. It is now trading at $0.78, still soaring 27.9%, with a turnover of $1.238 billion.

TENCENT (00700.HK)  +1.400 (+0.356%)    Short selling $1.07B; Ratio 9.649%   now stands at $340.6, up 2.47%, with a turnover of $7.05 billion. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)  -0.600 (-0.478%)    Short selling $446.65M; Ratio 11.192%   now anchors at $111.4, up 2.58%, with a turnover of $3.654 billion.

Tesla (TSLA.US)      accelerated the launch of affordable models, and its shares surged sharply in the US aftermarket. It also launched a zero down-payment campaign in China for Model 3 and Model Y. EV startups are also doing well. XPENG-W (09868.HK)  +0.400 (+1.272%)    Short selling $96.95M; Ratio 14.731%   trades now at $28.35, elevating 3.28%, involving a capital of $137 million. NIO-SW (09866.HK)  +0.050 (+0.119%)    Short selling $40.16M; Ratio 26.249%   now trades at $32, rising 2.07%, involving a capital of $19.82 million.
