The first phase of measures to regulate disposable plastic tableware came into effect yesterday (22nd). Chief Executive John Lee had a positive view on the overall implementation of the first phase of the measures, and that many restaurants and premises adopted different moves in response, Lee said.

Lee emphasized that in order to jointly promote environmental protection, citizens must initially adapt to the measures, and believed that the measures did not cause excessive impacts on the daily lives of the public.
