According to mainland media, BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  +2.500 (+2.306%)    Short selling $463.68M; Ratio 24.693%   vice president Shang Guobin was quoted as saying today that Baidu Maps V20 will support 3D lane-level navigation on the client (car) side, and will be the first time to be carried on Tesla (TSLA.US)      's Chinese version vehicles. The V20 version will be released and available for cars in May this year.

It will also be available on car models developed by Huawei in various collaboration modes, including HI mode, Smart Selection mode and Parts mode, as well as auto models with Huawei Smart Cabin. In addition to the above two automakers, Baidu Maps V20 will also be available on two other global top-selling automakers, and support both factory and aftermarket installations.
