China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) is re-considering the possibility of launching the privatization plan for CGN NEW ENERGY (01811.HK)  -0.010 (-0.415%)    Short selling $590.62K; Ratio 3.541%   , its subsidiary, or even delisting the company, Bloomberg News quoted insiders as saying.

However, the discussion is still at a preliminary stage with uncertainties.

The CGN had considered privatizing CGN NEW ENERGY in March 2020, but announced the abandonment of the plan 6 months later.
