Ernst & Young said that in 1-3Q23, there were a total of 968 IPOs globally, with US$101.2 billion in capital raised, a 5% and 32% decrease YoY. Of which, the number of IPOs in emerging markets and the amount of capital raised accounted for 77% and 75% of the global IPOs, respectively. In addition to the more prosperous markets of Indonesia, Malaysia and India, Turkey and Romania are also new popular IPO arenas.
