CHI ENGY HOLD (08009.HK) announced that the company entered into a memorandum of understanding, pursuant to which it proposed to purchase the entire stake in Careall International Energy in Kazakhstan for US$19.8 million (adjustable subject to valuation).

Careall International Energy carries on the business of exploring, developing, producing and acquiring natural oil and gas properties in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
