Automobile production and sales in China hit new records last month, fueling many a automobile stock. BRILLIANCE CHI (01114.HK) gained 3% to $11.3 while BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) added 3% to $30.85.

GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) climbed over 5%. GREATWALL MOTOR (02333.HK) traded sideways at high positions, last trading at $31.

DONGFENG GROUP (00489.HK) and GAC GROUP (02238.HK) rose 1.3% and 0.8% to $12.22 and $6.66.
