VALUE PARTNERS (00806) said to acquire KBC's JV fund company in China

According to Reuters, VALUE PARTNERS (00806) is in talks regarding the acquisition of a joint venture fund company of KBC in China and both parties have already proceeded to in depth discussions; yet, the acquisition still has not been finalized.

VALUE PARTNERS declined to comment on the news. However, if the above is true, it will be a second collaboration between the two parties. (t)
