20M+ NEVs Worldwide So Far Equipped with CATL Batteries: Chairman Zeng Yuqun

In the first three quarters of this year, the total export value of the "New Three" of CATL (03750.HK)(300750.SZ) represented by electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic batteries surpassed RMB900 billion, Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL, stated at an event. Among them, lithium batteries contributed nearly RMB400 billion, accounting for over 40%. Out of the nearly 200GWh of total lithium battery exports, CATL exported 120GWh, accounting for nearly 60%. He also noted that CATL has consistently invested in long-term R&D over the past decade, with total investments of over RMB80 billion, and more than RMB15 billion invested in the first three quarters of this year alone. As of the first half of this year, the company has accumulated nearly 50,000 patents and is one of the Chinese companies with the most overseas patent applications, he boasted.
