<US>Shopee's Parent Co. Sea (SE.US) Dips 8%+ as 3Q NP Far Lower Than Expected

Sea (SE.US), the parent company of Southeast Asian e-commerce platform Shopee, in which TENCENT (00700.HK) has a stake, disclosed its results for the third quarter ended September.

Total revenue increased by 38.3% YoY to US$5.986 billion, beating the market expectation of US$5.69 billion. Gross profit rose by 39.7% to US$2.599 billion.
