CAAM: NEV Sales in Mainland CN Exceed 50% of Total Sales in Oct for First Time

In 10M25, the production and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Mainland China continued to manifest high growth, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)'s latest data showed. In October, monthly new car sales of NEVs exceeded 50% of total new car sales for the first time, reaching 51.6%. In terms of exports, NEV exports reached 2.014 million units, up 90.4% YoY. During the period, the production and sales of automobiles in Mainland China reached 27.692 million units and 27.687 million units respectively, up by more than 10% YoY, data showed. Among them, the production and sales of NEVs reached 13.015 million units and 12.943 million units respectively, with YoY growth of 33.1% and 32.7%.
