According to industry surveys, Macau's GGR for the first 9 days of November was approx. MOP6.4 billion, implying that the average daily GGR decreased to about MOP711 million, Citi Research issued a research report saying. This data is encouraging, as November is a transitional month between the Golden Week in October and the festive December. The broker believed that the Waterbom Macao at the Macau Outdoor Performance Venue held last weekend may have contributed to the less-than-expected decline in GGR. Citi Research conservatively maintained its November GGR forecast at MOP20.5 billion, implying that the average daily GGR for the remaining days of the month is expected to be around MOP671 million.
