Unitree Robotics' 3rd Humanoid Robot R1 to Ship as Early as End-2025 or Early-2026

Wang Xingxing, Founder and CEO of intelligent robot manufacturer Unitree Robotics, said at the IROS 2025 that the Company's third humanoid robot R1 is ready for mass production, and will be shipped by end-2025 or early-2026. After the release of the Company's fourth humanoid robot H2, it decided to add a bionic face to these robots because some people found them a bit scary or unattractive, and the public would prefer a robot with a more human-like face, Wang added. The H2 robot is 180 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, with its bionic face design being a major highlight, according to the introduction.
