Allianz Global Investors Asia chief investment officer Raymond Chan (陳致強) expressed bullish views towards the Hong Kong stocks and A-shares due to the low valuation. He believed the market will be more volatile in the third quarter but turned upside in the fourth, as the effect of the policies, such as rate cut, will be materialized.
The Company's director of business in Greater China and Southeast Asia Yu Tin Yau (余天祐) said the semi-free exercise of the MPF will begin in November, and there is downside potential in handling charges, but it depends on the situation when the scale gets larger. He mentioned that the market is expecting that after the implementation, it will drive up the flow of 30% of MPF assets. (r)
