UBS Predicts Apple to Launch Foldable Phone Next Yr w/ Price as Low as US$1,800
2025-07-16 09:57:32 UBS' teardown analysis of Samsung's foldable phone, Z Fold SE, suggested that Apple (AAPL.US)'s first foldable phone, iPhone Fold, to be launched next year may achieve a bill of materials (BOM) cost of US$759, approximately 4% lower than Samsung's US$790, benefiting from cost savings on memory, application processors and camera modules, according to Fortune. However, premium materials increased the cost of the casing and hinge.
