2026-02-20 17:32:05 According to data from TONGCHENGTRAVEL (00780.HK), 18-19 February 2026 (the second to third day of the Lunar New Year) marks the peak travel period during the mid-Spring Festival holiday in mainland China, with airline travel popularity hiking 38% from that in the same period last year. For the entire Spring Festival holiday, passengers traveling at least twice by air are projected to increase by more than 50% YoY. Under the model of 'reunite at home first, then set off for vacation,' the peak in domestic hotel occupancy during the LNY was even more pronounced.
