FOCUS MEDIA (08112): high concentration of shareholding

FOCUS MEDIA (08112) made an announcement at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in respect of the high concentration of the shareholding in the hands of a limited number of shareholders of the Company as at 3 July 2012. Its findings suggested that as at 3 July 2012, 12 Shareholders held an aggregate of 59,081,400 shares of HK$0.10 each in the share capital of the Company, representing 18.01% of the issued Shares. Such shareholding, together with 262,194,600 Shares (representing 79.94% of the issued Shares) held aggregately by 3 substantial shareholders of the Company, represented 97.95% of the issued Shares as at 3 July 2012. Therefore, only 6,724,000 Shares (representing 2.05% of the issued Shares) were held by other shareholders. (y)
