Apple (AAPL.US) doesn't intend to comply with India's mandate to preinstall a state-owned cybersecurity app on phones, Reuters reported, citing sources.

Previously, the Indian government ordered companies, including Apple, Samsung, and XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), to preinstall an app named "Sanchar Saathi" within 90 days. This app is able to track stolen phones and lock them to prevent misuse, features that have sparked privacy concerns.
