NDRC may launch edible oil price quotation mechanism

China raised concerns over edible oil price hikes as production of soybean in the U.S , Argentina and Brazil missed estimates. Small-package oil makers including Yikai Kerry, COFCO and Luhua were requested to report the ex-factory price, wholesale price and retail price of small-package edible oil products to the National Development and Reform Commission in order to keep price steady, 21st Century Business Herald reported.
